Duck Duck Goose

We went to Duck Duck Goose in QV, Melbourne.

Overall, I think the food is quite good, and reasonable price too.
It is not a full on yum cha place, they have some dumplings, buns, and lunch dishes.
Lunch dishes are only $8, which is quite fairly priced considering it looks like an up market restaurant.
I like the peking duck, and prawn dumplings. Tunips is a bit undercooked, I think, that's the only dish that I don't like.

Decorating is quite good, and they have a bar right next to the door which looks relaxing.

Will definitely give it another go later on, with their lunch dishes (we didn't try their lunch dishes).

  1. This was a modern style yum cha targeted to western diners as it was a much more civilised experience with english speaking staff and no trolleys to be seen anywhere. I cant say I was Wowed by the presentation of the food, it was pretty stock standard dumplings, you would come here more for the ambience and the service. The french part of the restuarant looked interesting and I wouldn't mind going back to try it....(when Caross is paying :P) and the lunch menu as well. The egg in Denise bim bim bap looked amazing. The yoke was surrounded evenly by a thin, translucent layer of egg white. It was a work of art. Overall $20 for lunch was not bad and the range of teas on the menu was impressive.
